The ESP Pi Chapter's Policies and Procedures' provides guidance for the organization's financial transactions.

ESP - PI Chapter's financial accounts are held at Community Resource Bank in Roseville, MN. Our Policies and Procedures requires that the checking account has two names on the account (Treasurer and Secretary), but requires only one signature.

ESP Pi Chapter holds a non-profit status. Each year the Treasurer submits the following documents to maintain this status:
  • The "MN Non Profit Corporation Annual Renewal Form" needs to be submitted with an updated listed of Chapter officers by December 31 each year with the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State. Our organization is listed as "Pi Chapter- Epsilon Sigma Phi - The National Honorary Extension Fraternity".  
  • "Form 990N" needs to be filed with the IRS each year by February 15 each year. Our organization name is listed as "Pi Chapter Epsilon Sigma Phi National Honorary Extension Fraternity". Our EIN # is 416175987.
Financial Reports: 
  • Annual budgets are linked below.
  • Treasurer's report are presented at each board meeting with accounts balances listed in meeting minutes. 
  • Per requirements in the constitution, financial accounts are audited each year. Audit reports are included in the annual meeting reports.


To request reimbursement for expenses that have been authorized in the approved budget or by the Board, complete and submit a “Request for Payment" form. This transaction requires the signature of the President or Vice President on the form or via electronic communication before submitting to the Treasurer. Please submit all necessary receipts with the form.
