Qualifications/Categories of Membership

Membership

Membership is open to Extension salary-based professionals including administrative, campus, regional and county-based personnel and retirees and those who left in good standing from the Extension System. Membership is established through state chapters chartered through the national society.

Types of Membership


Annual Membership - Extended to current University of Minnesota Extension salary-based professionals including administrative, campus, regional and county-based personnel. Annual membership of $70.00, includes membership in both the state and national societies, and full membership privileges of voting, holding office, and serving on committees.

Life Membership - Extended to University of Minnesota Extension salary-based professionals who have retired or left in good standing from the Extension System. Life membership requires a one-time payment of $250.00 ($200 to national/$50 to state) and includes membership in both the state and national societies and full membership privileges of voting, holding office, and serving on committees.

Minnesota Life MembershipExtended to University of Minnesota Extension salary-based professionals who have retired or left in good standing from the Extension System. Minnesota Life Membership is an alternative to Life Membership (above). It requires the annual membership of $70.00 and includes membership in both the state and national societies and full membership privileges of voting, holding office, and serving on committees.
